You want to know what tangible success looks like?  How about six months to reduce a full diopter in lens prescriptions?

Big deal, you think.  You show us these stories all the time, Jake.

But this one is Kristina, who is an 18 year old high school student.  And before anyone gets their huff-pants on about how age doesn’t matter, let me just interrupt that right now.  We’ve actually got a strict minimum age of 25 for BackTo20/20, exactly because younger ones tend to be way too distracted and ADD (and annoying me with endless questions), and don’t do well with a structured program.

Don’t shoot the messenger.

Kristina though sat down, read the e-mail series, then read the blog, then went to Google Scholar and did her own research, and then she went and did something about her myopia.  In her own words:

That’s beyond awesome.  Hopefully her parents realize the treasure they raised.

If my little boy grows up to be that self motivated, that sh#t-together, that clear headed at 18, I’ll be a super proud parent.  (he’ll be a punk kid though in all likely reality, stealing daddy’s go-fast motorbike to joy ride at 3am with a bunch of *redacteds*)

I apologize for all the improprieties in this post.

I’m excited to know every time the blog even helps just one single person stop the myopia nonsense, and get on the road of some real 20/20 gains, and not permanent lens wear.  It’s genuinely addictive and also why I keep posting studies, and refuting mainstream nonsense, and writing how-to’s, and answering e-mails.

Also and consequently awesome, getting these e-mails to repost on the blog for you, so you too might feel a moment of excellent motivation to get out of the optometrist hamster wheel.  Thanks to Kristina for sharing!

Is @endmyopia an excuse to play with cameras and Photoshop?

Housekeeping:  More new video and audio sessions in BackTo20/20.  This won’t be a daily pace of updates, though hopefully somewhat consistent.  As always the program is continuously getting tweaks and improvements, and since all memberships are unlimited, lifetime, now you can come back anytime to revisit sessions and their respective updates.
