Michelle posts an update in the forum:

I have been wearing the reduced prescription, -7.5 contacts in both eyes for 3 weeks now. I received my glasses, +1.5, last week and have been using them for computer use.
I have noticed that if I can get outside every day my eyes both clear up pretty quickly in 10-15 minutes. Besides a dog, having 4 year old twins helps too :).
It takes twice as long indoors in the mornings.
Since starting the program 6 weeks ago, I spend 20 minutes every morning without my glasses and take the cm measurements after. My cm have improved from about 11 cm initially to almost 13 (left 12-12.5, right 12.5-13.2) I use the Snellen charts to focus for 5-10 minutes to read down to the 20/15 line. When I come in from outside, I can read the bottom line on the 3 meter chart and the 20/13 line on the 6 meter chart immediately. If I am on the computer for 30-60 minutes, even with the glasses, it takes me 10 minutes or more to clear my eyes again for distance, especially my left eye. I have been trying to limit time on the computer and look up frequently, moving the glasses and looking far in the distance out the window, or stepping outside.
When I am outside, I have consistently clear vision. At dark, it is a little more work to focus.
You said 4-6 weeks before focal plane changes. Next week is 4 weeks for the lower contact prescription, is it okay to try the -7 contacts then?
What trends am I looking for before I challenge my eyes further by reducing the prescription?
Or should I wait 4-6 weeks from adding the reading differential glasses?

Should she?

I added some comments to Michelle’s (rather well sorted) forum question, in the thread.  If you have forum access, stop over for a quick read.

Note how effective the system is, when you follow it exactly.  Warms my little heart!

Cheers,
