If you’re reading this, our media team has contacted you about endmyopia.

Welcome to a whole rabbit hole on a 100 billion dollar industry focused on selling everyone lenses, hiding the truth about myopia, and lots of drama and intrigue around our human eyesight.

Endmyopia: 10.000 Daily Forum Views – 14.000 Member Facebook Group – 220.000 Member Mailing List – 1.2 Million Blog Readers – 7.8 Million YouTube Watch Minutes

Shortsightedness, nearsightedness, myopia.

It affects an estimated 3 billion people on the planet.  In some places like Hong Kong and Singapore, over 90% of school age children wear glasses.

The retail optometrists will tell you that it’s a mysterious suddenly occurring “genetic condition”.

But it’s not.  Not at all, actually.

Google Scholar (the science part of the search engine) currently shows  50.000+ results on “lens-induced myopia” – which is the actual and well known cause of poor eyesight.

Retail lens sellers tell us that we’re somehow suddenly all genetically defective, and published, peer-reviewed clinical science tells us that it’s their very treatment that causes more of the problem.

Glasses actually cause increasing myopia, while creating a subscription model for highly profitable lens sales:

It’s not a conspiracy, just a highly profitable cover-up.

It’s a convenient 100 billion dollar a year industry machination, and people actually like the quick fix.

Because we’re all addicted to screens, instant gratification, avoiding personal responsibility, and finding all the easy way shortcuts while being mindless consumers.

Or are we …

There’s a huge opportunity here for the rather fascinating deep dive on how glasses are a lie, and how you could have 20/20 eyesight.  Applicable to a very wide audience, with lots of science, biology, and the twists and turns of for-profit optometry tall tales.

Jake Steiner is a stock trader and investor by day, and moonlights on myopia science and creating awareness about the reality of human eyesight.  He also reversed his -5 diopter high myopia all the way to natural 20/20 eyesight, and has spent the last 20 years fostering a community of tens of thousands of individuals regaining their natural, unaided vision.

More on evidence based myopia control and Jake Steiner, here.

Here are some of the previous podcasts we’ve been fortunate to be a part of:

The Fat Emperor with Ivor Cummins

Ivor Cummins is the Chief Program Officer for Irish Heart Disease Awareness (how about that for a mouthful) and hosts a fascinating podcast primarily centered around heart health.

The Fat Emperor is a veritable rabbit hole on heart disease, the cover-up of coronary artery calcification scanning, and the potential for stopping (and even reversing) a great deal of heart disease risk.  Hugely worthwhile to dive into this one, regardless of your interest on myopia!

Ivor loved our topic and agreed to have a chat, even though we’re not quite the heart disease topic:

Listen to the episode here.

Rewild Yourself with Daniel Vitalis

Daniel’s podcast has a massive following, and an illustrious roster of past guests.

Everyone from the best selling author Neil Strauss, to the much discussed John Gray, and even Wim Hoff have spent time discussing health and nature with Daniel.

Jake also made an appearance on Rewild Yourself, here in Episode #96.

Human Performance Outliers with Dr. Shawn Baker

Dr. Shawn Baker’s biography is a bit intimidating for us mere mortals:

➟ Completed 5 Year Orthopedic Surgical Residency – University Of Texas 2006

➟ Chief Of Orthopedics Kirtland Air Force Base
➟ Chief Of Orthopedics Luke Air Force Base

And of course you may have heard of him, in his episode on the Joe Rogan podcast.

Here also Jake made an appearance, discussing myopia and the cover up that is human eyesight and nearsightedness:

You can find Jake’s episode here.

AdapNation with Steve Katashi

And if all of this so far sounds like we’re only aiming for the Who’s Who and big spotlight podcasts, that’s entirely not the case.

We love any and all chats that involve a health and wellness minded audience.  It’s not necessarily about how many people are listening, but rather who is.  And even more than all of that, genuinely having a great conversation, which we had here with Steve:

Check out Jake’s episode here.

There are quite a few more, like this episode on the Biohackers Podcast, the one on the Futuretech Podcast, the Roots Of Health, and others.
