Glasses: (never wore)
Right: -5.00/-0.25/30
Left: -5.75/-0.5/177
Contacts:
Right -5.00
Left -5.25
I started by wearing a +2.5 reader over my contacts, and very rapidly I was able to drop my contact scrip.
Today:
Contacts:
Right: -3.50
Left: -4.00
20/20 each eye inside, 20/15 or better both eyes open.
I’m wearing a +1.25 reader over those for any close work.
Couple of observations/questions:
1. Left eye only double vision on Snellen: with both eyes open, things work great, but when I cover my right eye, the left eye is able to hold focus for a short time, and then I get double vision, expecially in low light. I’m usully able to clear it when I relax the left eye, and always when I open both.
2. Transient (30 minutes) vertigo symtpoms that can trigger when looking quickly from far to near. Nothing I can’t deal with, but I feel like I’ve had a drink.”
