There is only one page on the site, that I had no input in creating:  the sales page, here.

The contents of it are picked out of pieces I had written, that are available throughout the site.  Composition of the page however, presentation, were all done by an expert on the subject of online sales.

I would very much like to get your feedback, especially if you either a) have signed up for the Web Program, or b) considered to, but haven’t.

If you are going to spare a few minutes to share your thoughts, bear this in mind:  I am not looking for a way to create more sales.

To date, I actually avoided all forms of common internet marketing.  From the ways these things are advertised, to the way sales are funneled, how leads are created, many books are written on the subject (and I have read a few of them).  You may notice, that there is not even an active newsletter, though the site has been around for more than two years (there was one for a moment though, and there will be again.  It just is not a priority for me, to try to generate leads and ‘sales’).  Why not?

Rather than pushing visitors to sign up for the program, with all the psychological tricks, I want to simply present all the available information, and let the visitor come to their own conclusion.

I am not doing this, for unselfish reasons.

As you well know, if you have partaken in the Web Program, a fair amount of self motivation is necessary.  You do end up learning new things, altering habits, putting in the effort of buying reduced prescriptions, and changing how you use your glasses.

All of that would not be effective (I believe), if I managed to convince someone to use the Web Program, by any kind of manipulation.

A motivated individual, presented with enough information to make a decision, can use the program, and benefit from it.  Someone that would be talked into signing up, seems would be more likely to stop, not benefit from the program, waste their money, and end up being a poor reflection of the practice.  That’s not good for anyone.

My thoughts explained, I would very much like to know how you went through the discovery process when using the site, including and in particular the current sign-up page.

Is it enough information?  Too much?  Too much sales talk, or not convincing enough?

My instinct is to have a much smaller, much less content heavy sign up page.  But I don’t want to do something that will be counterproductive for those researching myopia recovery, and then being dissuaded by my lack in presentation skill.

You can either post in the forum in this thread here, or send me an e-mail.

I really appreciate your time and thoughts!
