-2.25 Diopters To -0.50
Over about 48 months the writer improved from -2.25 to -0.5 within the first six months, then stalled at -0.5 for roughly three years. By 25 January 2020 the autorefractor read about -1.00 in the right eye and -1.25 in the left. Martin: No Longer Needs Glasses
Martin started EndMyopia in March 2020 and made big improvements in his left eye astigmatism during the first 5 months, while his right eye was already almost at 20/20. He now does not wear glasses and is comfortable with his eyesight. His left eye is not yet at 20/20 but he reports it is close, and he says he is not measuring it. Down To -0.75 Diopters
The writer started active focus and could clear text at about 3 meters, then within roughly two months an optometrist in Calicut said their glasses were overcorrected and issued a new prescription with about a 0.5 D reduction. The optometrist confirmed the change, saying it looked like a reduction in lens power. More than four years later the writer reports being at about -0.75 or -0.5, sometimes -0.25 (all minuses).
