DANCE: Things To Do With 20/20 Eyeballs

There are a whole lot of things you might not think about doing, if you're wearing glasses. Yvonne posts in the FB group: Dance!  Swim, hike ... And sure you say, contact lenses. A great interim fix, contact lenses, if you're working to improve your eyesight.  But a long term solution?  Remember, irreversible corneal abrasion.  Clinical science says so, even if your favorite contact lens manufacturer doesn't put that wee detail on the box.   There's always, always a price [...]

Melissa: 20/30 To 20/13 In A Few Months … Woohoo!

Melissa posts over in our darling Facebook group: Nice work, Melissa. Knowledge is power, dear kittehs. If you don't want to be an invalid for life, addled with glasses today, decimated by glaucoma, lattice degeneration, and retinal detachment later, then you need the knowledges about the myopia truths.  Pay now or pay later ... up to you, like they say in these parts.   It'll be much more expensive later. Today it's just a visit to your favorite darling eye [...]

Wendy: -6.00 Reduced To -4.50 In 14 Months (30% Improvement!)

It's probably the easiest and most fun articles to post here.  Improvement reports.  Also fascinating to me is how communication with you [...]

Where Should You Start With Diopter Reductions?

It's time to put this question in the FAQ.  Diopter reductions, where to start. First, obvious disclaimers.  Don't monkey with lenses if you don't know what you're doing.  Don't go dig up some "old prescription" and start wearing it.  Learn about the biology first, learn centimeter measurements, do a ton of reading, before messing with focal plane changes.  That stuff is no joke and you'll do way more harm than good by going into this experiment without a clear background [...]

Myopia, Metaphor For (A Handicapped) Life

Let's be super, extra off-topic, today.   Let's talk dream life, wishful thinking, won-the-lottery scenario.  What would you do, if you never had to worry about money again, starting right now?   I'm sure you've thought about this. Would you quit your cubicle job in spectacular fashion, stop at home just long enough to grab your passport, and head straight for the airport?  Buy a plane ticket right on your phone while in the cab, to somewhere tropical, beachey.  And while [...]

Melissa: -6.75 Reduced To -5.00 (+ Pregnant, Toddler, & Full Time Job!)

Huge backlog of improvement reports!  Let's work on that today.  ;) Today let's have a look at Melissa, in BackTo20/20, making some very solid 20/20 gains - despite being pregnant, having a full time job, and also a baby.   Side note:  How does anybody even do that?  I've got no job and one toddler and a girl who takes care of him and I still feel as though I'd drown if we had another kid.    Here's Melissa, posting her update: [...]
