Am I going to for real write a post about axial length … again?
It’s time of AI writing all posts. And who are we kidding, we live in the time of fruitfly attention span addled TikTok brain overproduced micro video content.
Nobody reads anymore. And there’s no more content that isn’t AI slop.
Except this:
People are f*cking morons. I mean really, even a halfwit like your dearest uncle Jake found all the biology on how human eye axial length is adjusted actively by the eye, the actual mechanism for this being fairly well explored. It’s not some hidden mystery.
I honestly have arguments with ophthalmologists, still, who don’t even know this mechanism exists.
Honest to god, people who you trust to “treat” your myopia, who sell you glasses at 6,000% markup, believe (like belief is really the modus that should be used here?) that axial length only goes one way. They believe your eye only elongates.
This should disqualify them from further discussion, immediately.
It’s like saying the human body has no way to process fiber. Would you debate this person? Or would you just say, “read a f*cking book sometime”. It’s not my / your / anyone’s job to be the remedial educator for people who went to medical school and apparently entirely skipped vision biology 101.
But let’s not have an endless rant. Yes of course the eye shortens.
Then part deux of this debate is, does endmyopia practices shorten eyeballs.
And this is where you can get at me. Because I will say, not my problem. Does it? Go get your eyeball length tested. Now and later. Does it shorten your eyeball? Go find out. It’s easy. And in the meantime all endmyopia practices just reduce eye strain and give you some stimulus. So even if it did nothing else, you are still just getting into better habits regardless.
I have this unspoken policy: If you give me axial length data that you went out and got, I’ll share with you axial length change of other people.
If you just want proof, without being willing to contribute to the data pool?
GTFO.
I’m not in the business of satisfying ones desire whether this will be a free and also guaranteed-to-work-for-you experiment. If that was the case I’d have funding for such a study. And the way I’d have funding is by getting paid to be doing this. Which I’m not, so the $50,000 to $250,000 for such a study that people want but won’t fund, isn’t ever gonna happen.
I don’t care. I’m retired, I have money, I live at the beach. Somebody wants to fix their eyes, the how-to is here, free. The “proof”, the “is this free but also is this heavily academia supported with 6 figure studies”, is an unrealistic level of entitlement.
I could fund studies.
But I’d have to sell more than some $1k courses. Anyone who thinks that’s enough to pay for a serious operation, is dreaming.
I could. I could sell more stuff. But why. What’s my motivation. I don’t need anything from anyone. All that more proof is going to produce, is more headaches. Now people can go to a retail optometrist and say words like “lawsuit”. Lens manufacturers might look at me like an actual threat.
No thanks.
Obscurity is security. This is a set of mirages hidden in a jungle of snakes-o-sarcasm.
But here’s a teaser:

Ah yea so … sure. Who didn’t think the guy who does myopia science for 20 years, doesn’t have axial length data?
I have mountains of files.
A fault of things that never touched the Internet. Or did, and are screenshotted, saved, backed up. This is a serious scientific project, but for ole Jakey, not for randos on the Internet who imagine stuff is owed to them.
Oh whoops, an axial length after, measurement?
Yea of course those exist.

I have a hundred more. Or more than that, who knows.
Researchers salivate for this data. Academics trying to put their name on something salient to publish, have hounded me for this stuff, for many years. I’ve got mountains more data. Diopter progress based on a structured, mechanistic approach. Acuity results confirmed by independent optometrist exams.
All of it. Lots of it.

Not just but also in our private forum.
I can tell you, yea, endmyopia works. If you understand vision biology and the basics of what we do, this isn’t a big leap of faith to assume that it would be the case.
But the thing is ole Jake is 50-something, makes money on things that don’t require approval of the Internet. Jakey has done this online for 15+ years, has taken all the abuse, freeloading, expectations, plz-bro messages by the tens of thousands. The stealing of my methods, the copy-catting, the ridicule by reddit-dorks. There just isn’t enough money in the world, or praise, for me to give a f*ck at this stage.
If you promise me a fountain in a park, you might get my attention. A fountain-o-Jake, in some courtyard in a university with a prestigious ophthalmology department. I’ll come out with some data if you want to trade me that.
Or. Or, bring your own before and after axial length measurements, and I’ll share you some.
F*ck outa here otherwise, with the demands. AI might eat the world. Or some of these ongoing complete retard wars, or politicians who think they can extort us and surveil us. I’d be on the side of humans who say that WE monitor the politicians Web traffic and private chats, not the other way around. I’d give those humans all the data they’d like to have. Ones with balls and not ones who vote for these f*cks that take all their money to give to dangerous low IQ migrants, or to bomb more countries instead of educating our youth and funding real health care.
Yea that’s where we’re at. Live long enough, free enough, you’ll be over it with the NPC drones too.
Cheers,
-Jake
