I mentioned recently that I am working to bring you a free mini course to help reduce myopia.

It will be much more limited, of course, than the Web Program, but it will provide the key steps to put the Four Pillars into practice – and get better eyesight in the process.

My thoughts on why we need this mini myopia cure course:

Lots of people come to the site, browse anywhere from four to eight pages on average, spend seven minutes (on average), and then leave.  It’s enough page views and enough time to where they are clearly interested – but seven minutes is not enough to actually learn enough to improve your vision.  There are a lot of people searching for terms like ‘myopia cure’, and we need something they can act on easily, find their own tangible positive results.

I want to give all of these individual an opportunity to at least take some small steps towards stopping their myopia progression, and hopefully even motivate them with some improvements.

There are only four things involved, in stopping myopia progression, and reversing the trend:

  1. Eye Strain Awareness & Strain Reduction
  2. Targeted Stimulus (active focus)
  3. Prescription Management
  4. Habits and Tracking

I am breaking these four areas down into four e-mail installments, which will be available for free, and provide a simple step-by-step introductory (mini) course.

It won’t be anywhere near as comprehensive as the Web Program (which is proving to be very effective), but it will help those who are on the fence about doing something about their eyesight health.  And, it will be a great in between step improvement, between having to read all of the blog and forum, and signing up for the paid program.

If you don’t hear that much from me in the coming week or two (I will still of course be checking e-mail and the forum), it is because I am buried in learning about e-mail software, best practice, and researching suitable options to deal with a quality newsletter, without annoying you all with too many e-mails.

I imagine it won’t be anything close to perfect in the beginning, and I look forward to your thoughts and feedback.

Keep a look out for further updates, some more details of the contents of the free mini course, and hopefully an e-mail signup coming very very soon.  Also, forgive some of the sensationalist wordings in titles, it is just what Google says is the most common search terms, that I tend to use for some of these related topics.

Look for more on this soon from your old man Web project guy,
