Behind The Scenes.  Highly professional outfit that @endmyopia is, behind the scenes is all entirely sanctionable, appropriate, and educationally valuable content.

Or not any of that.  We take no responsibility for what you may find in this section.  (nor anywhere else, really … Jake is any PR professional’s amused nightmare)

Ashish: Reduced From -3.00 To -1.50 (In 1 Month)

Let's dazzle the world with some more gains today, kittehz. GAINNNNZ. Ashish: -3.00 To -1.50 This one caught a bit of flak in the Facebook group: Optimistic? Improvements aren't entirely objective, at all times. Initial gains though should be celebrated and used as a stepping stone to building solid habits and a long term outlook towards getting back to 20/20 - and staying there. Diana: -4.00 To -3.25 A nice update: Opto confirmed, no less. 9 months is a long [...]

Choosing Normalized Diopters

Today, a quick video discussing how you might find a good normalized diopter compromise.  There are quite a few videos in our YouTube channel that I haven't reposted here, it's worth subscribing there in case I miss sharing new content here. Normalized diopter talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXNfjfcbFJk Not in a very video mood, this guru. It does all boil down to personal preference and suiting your scenario and lifestyle.  The more you measure, the more you actively take part in your visual [...]

Christie: Optometrist Says, “No More Myopia”

Gains updates time, kittehz. First of all, please let me say that a darling guru is very, very far removed from the West.  And all the curious and rapidly changing ideas about free speech, extra enhanced political correctness, and generally things that an old man finds quite confusing. Seems like we'd have more pressing problems than trying to practice being little fascists with each other while the big corporate machines continue grinding our lives into infinite data points and personalized [...]

Pushing Focus vs. Pulling Focus

Much of the terminology around endmyopia has existed in the countless wind swept millennia before the Internet.   Think temples and ruins of temples and ancient spiritual sacrifices. Or not any of that, maybe just that we started with endmyopia before the Internet did take over the world.  Because of that (and because Jake's lazy and disorganized) I haven't necessarily put all of the terms we use here, in the FAQ.  Usually it's when somebody asks, and I look, and [...]

Gerli: “Optometrist Says I’ll Go Blind?!!”

Quiiiick one today, kittehz.  20/20 gains updates. This one, also available in video-rant format:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VgohvylUmo Going there. And of course here is the text-rant version. First up, our headliner: Not sure of the fear mongering backstory on this one. Will leave this one for you to ponder. And here's a good one, exactly how I'd say one should approach the mystical forests of endmyopia: Test all teh thingz! Another great one, tactically practically almost back to 20/20: Almost no more [...]

Depression & (High) Myopia

This is a big topic, apparently. You don't find the ole guru digging too deep into emotional states and generally more intangible aspects of myopia.  We should since that's one of the top reasons that you should start working on reducing your lens dependence.   So if you feel despair about your myopia (high myopia in particular), watch this rambly video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHGJsSveHO4 Hopefully useful. One day at a time.  Putting a lot into this resource to help you overcome adversity [...]
