Stefanie posts in the forum:

They’re out there, optometrists who don’t crank you to 11.
One of them, whose family used to have a chain of 20 optic shops in London, may be about to start writing about her experiences with BackTo20/20 here in the blog soon. Fingers crossed, she just started out as part of the professionals program.
Housekeeping Notes: Speaking of professional, if you’ve known me for a bit here already, you know that I’m not the most ideal professional-type spokesperson for myopia control.
I’ve considered buying a local optic shop for a better video backdrop and all the various bits and pieces on site to explain things in more detail. I’ve been offered degrees from accredited universities. I could just as easily throw on a white lab coat, show off a fully legitimate (oh the ironies) professional credit, and put this whole thing on an entirely new footing.
But that’s just not me. The optic shop, maybe. The “pro” part though, that would be incongruent with Jakey’s sordid personality. I struggle even making a straight talking video series with a shirt on! (Disclaimer: That link, might as well not go there.) I spent literally all afternoon trying to reproduce the sound check video content, with absolutely no luck. If only I’d cranked the air con in the studio instead of shirtlessly munching on lunch while checking the camera settings. Another lesson learned. :-/ Now, how to talk sincerely at a camera on command? Anyone know any tricks?
The forum is full of really great questions, insights, and absolutely excellently self-assess lens changes today. Truly brilliant, very proud of you guys for getting all this out of the course!
Cheers,
-Jake
