Starting Point: Low Myopia

Congratulations.  You literally have the least amount of myopia of anybody following the beardly method.  But still it’ll take you a little while to make it back to 20/20.

Which having made it here before you ended up with high myopia (like many), is fortuitous for you.  The so-called professionals have told you that your eyes just aren’t good enough and that you definitely need their amazing product.  They’d keep telling you this while your myopia may well be continually increasing (especially if you’re staring young).

But now you are here to get a different idea about myopia … skeptical ideally, open-minded, hopefully.

By now you likely found out that  retail optometry knows that minus lenses cause myopia and that myopia in most cases isn’t an illness at all.  Myopia is usually nothing more than a refractive state, meaning that your eyes simply adapted to both strain (from close-up) and stimulus (of the wrong kind, from minus lenses).

Oops.  And you may look and find more and more articles on the subject, realizing that you’re neither hopeless, nor broken.

That part isn’t really in question, at least not once you explore a bit of the clinical science and studies that can easily be found on Google Scholar.  The real question is, is Cooky VonJakenstein off his regal rocker, or is this particular dirty stock trader and capitalist Schweinehund on to something, with all this talk about reversing myopia?

This is the question.  Is endmyopia just more Internet unicorn farming, or is it the real deal?

Spoiler alert, at the very least it’s run by a amusingly deranged creature of the beard.

But whatever.  What counts is results, and so let’s look at some results for those who started out just like you:

Low Myopia Progress Updates

Tom: From Nerdy Programmer With -2.50 To 20/13 Perfect Vision

Welcome back, kittehs. It's the eye guru's few days of enjoying the over crowdedness that is Hong Kong, soon to hopefully migrate to somewhere with cheap hotel rooms at least big enough to set up a tripod.   Yes, videos are quite overdue.   Before we get to Tom and his 20/20 gains all the way to the 20/13 gains, let's have a small bit of digression.    A digression about haters and trolls and whatever [...]

Bella: January -4.75 –> May 20/30 Without Glasses (!)

We need to do more video, kittehs. Just so you can see an eye guru's very self satisfied, smirkey, told-ya-so face.   Which is pretty much the standard face these days. Yes, myopia is a bullshit, made-up "illness" just to sell you a nice, quick fix for a bunch of money.  It's easy recurring revenue, and both the dealers and the users are happy.  It's a win-win all around, as long as you're either some lens-sales [...]

Chiang: Back To 20/20 Vision (plus Michael, who we saved $8,000)

Yes yes kittehs, it's been a while.  Yet again. Uncle Jake has been experiencing some endmyopia burnout.  Is experiencing it, still.  That and actual business projects have been taking over more of the schedule.  Gotta make them monies on occasion, since unlike what the pea brain haters online like to imagine, this whole project isn't exactly a goldmine. It's a 20/20-gains-mine, though.   Let's dig up some of the recent gains reports that the bearded one [...]

-2.75 Reduced To -1.50: Optometrist Says Don’t Tell Anyone!

Following the theme of the past few reports, this one straight to the point. If you're wishing for more gratuitous commentary and digressions (no Jake, you're thinking), those will hopefully be back soon.  Schedules being rather tight lately with sunshine and travel, the old guru is only managing the bare minimum of blog updates for you at the moment. Let's look at the update teased in the post title: And there we have it. You know [...]

Laurens Update: -3.75 Reduced To -1.50

Quick one today, have to post this great update for you before I lose track of it. This one from Laurens, via the BackTo20/20 forum: Hi folks, So today I’m three months underway since I got that first email from Jake in my in-box. A lot has happened since then. I started at -3.75 full correction for both eyes. Right now I’m down to -1.5 normalized and full correction being around -2.0. I can see 20/40 [...]

Louise: Child Myopia Reversed (+ Optometrist FASCINATED & more)

A guru walketh among us, darlings. There was a time you could have been born when the earth was still flat, much like myopia is some kind of mysterious disease in current day optometry reality.  Right now you're living in a time where the old eye guru's teachings are still considered heresy.   What do you mean, they say.  It's bad eyeball genetics. Treating symptoms as a for-profit enterprise?  Great idea, Watson!  Nothing could possibly go [...]
