Things are not quite on schedule this month, the second installment of the Winter Installments is running a bit late. I will make up for the delay by adding a few bonus Installments, beyond the four originally planned.

In the second installment, due to be in your installments folder by the weekend, we discuss the un-habit.

For most of the Vision Improvement Course we talk about the importance of forming habits from the content of the installments.

The #endmyopia Method is the opposite of the idea of “eye exercises”. We want small, persistent, positive changes, to undo the damage caused by the old habits, which caused your myopia in the first place. The program at large is only long term effective, if you are serious about building habits.

So for the most part, I like to keep things simple, and easy to form habits around.

There is a bit of an exception to all of this, in the fact that the body responds best to (certain types and degrees of) stimulus that it can’t predict. This is why successful gym programs have you continually alter exercise formats. If your body doesn’t know what happens next, the level of preparedness increases to meet whatever challenge might come next.

For this reason, while 90% of everything I suggest should be a matter of habit, once in a while we want to add the unexpected to your program.

In the un-habits installment we will look at a few very effective variations of focus pulling in particular, as well as additional ways you can leverage the double vision effect.

This will be the first one of these types of installments in the Winter Series. I have another one I want to share with you, this one dealing with the close-up side of things. We will look at some ways you can use a plus lens to add to this unexpected stimulus (appropriate mainly if you have already progressed into low myopia).

Look for these and more loading in your account, and some of the highlights and additional tips here on the blog.

Enjoy!
