Recent YouTube Jakey post, about my own journey from -5D to -3D glasses.

And yes, I do get confused on locations.  Pretty sure that was the first Laos round, though there was either there or Cambodia that -3 started working well.  If only Jake had kept better logs … (like you ought to).

Either way, some possible lessons there for those who like to monkey with lenses, skip the learning process.  You always come back to RTFM eventually, after a few rounds of “meh, I don’t need none of that science details stuff”.

In my defense, when I started there was no eye guru, no @endmyopia to provide the option to teach me a few things before getting started.

That looks professional.

Things go a lot more smoothly, if you take the time to learn, before you start messing with lenses.

Then again, it’s an individual journey.  Some need that experience of screwing up first, to learn the benefits of taking the slow, methodical route.  As long as you don’t quit (or fall into an open manhole cover), you’ll eventually figure it out.

Also thumbs up the videos if you like them, subscribe to the channel, leave some commentarious comments.

Housekippin’:  Tomorrow is travel day.  Get up early, airport, four hour flight, new country, new city, find hotel, locate friends, catch up, cause trouble.  Blog quality for tomorrow, definitely a question mark.

Cheers,
