There is one page on the site, that I didn’t create. One page, that has been bothering me, for more than a year now.

But I never did anything about it.

The page in question, is the program sales / sign-up page.

If you know me, if you have followed the blog for a while, you already know how I feel about sales. It isn’t my area of expertise. I have no interest in sales. I believe in education, and people coming to their own conclusions, at their own pace.

Since it seemed reasonable that the site needed some sort of sales page, I left that one to the professionals.

But it always bothered me.

They say these kinds of pages need a ton of content. But it was too long. I couldn’t ever even read the thing. In some ways, I was always surprised to see sign-ups. I would be thinking, for a moment, every time:

“What, really, somebody read all that and actually made it to the payment button?”

Today though, I finally found the ambition to tackle this dreaded page, once and for all. It is now, officially, what I would tell you, if you were coming here contemplating some vision improvement.

And for the time being, I am rather proud of how it turned out.

Of course tomorrow is another day, so we will have to see if my opinion holds. And much more importantly, what new visitors may think of it!

It could well be that you will get much longer e-mail responses from me now, as I will have lots more time when new sign-ups entirely stop, due to my new sign up page!

Humor aside, take a moment to see what’s new.

Today was originally going to be a bit of insight as to why those optic shops are so pesky about requiring you to have a prescription. Due to above change in the program, look for that topic tomorrow!

Enjoy,
